Managing Your Subscription

How to upgrade, downgrade, cancel, and manage billing for your Cassian account.

All billing management happens in Settings → Billing.

Upgrading your plan

Go to Settings → Billing

Click Upgrade next to your desired plan

Complete the checkout flow

New features are available immediately after payment

You're charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period — you don't pay twice for the days already covered.

Downgrading your plan

Go to Settings → Billing → Manage subscription

Select a lower tier

Confirm the change

The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep all current features until then — there's no immediate loss of access.

Cancelling

Go to Settings → Billing → Manage subscription

Click Cancel subscription

Confirm cancellation

Your account stays active until the end of the paid period. After that, it reverts to the Inspector (free) tier. Your sites, scan history, and settings are all retained — nothing is deleted.

Cancelling moves you to Inspector (free), not to account closure. If you want to delete your account entirely, go to Settings → Account → Delete account.

Updating your payment method

Settings → Billing → Manage subscription → Payment methods.

Update your card details here. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.

Viewing invoices

Settings → Billing → Manage subscription → Invoices.

Every invoice is available to download as a PDF. Invoices include a full line-item breakdown of what you were charged.

What happens to your data if you cancel

Your account, sites, and scan history are retained on the Inspector (free) tier. Nothing is deleted when you cancel. If you re-subscribe later, everything is exactly as you left it.

Frequently asked questions

Can I pause my subscription?

Not currently. You can cancel and rejoin — your data will still be there when you return.

Do you offer refunds?

We don't offer refunds for partial months. If you believe you've been charged incorrectly, contact us at getcassian.com/contact and we'll sort it out.

I was charged but my plan didn't change — what should I do?

Contact us at getcassian.com/contact with your account email and a description of what happened. We'll investigate and resolve it.

Can I have multiple billing accounts?

Each organisation has one billing account. If you're managing multiple clients, the Agency plan handles this with per-site billing under a single account.

What happens if my payment fails?

You'll receive an email notification. Cassian retries the charge automatically. If the payment remains overdue, some features may be suspended. Resolve the payment issue in Settings → Billing → Manage subscription to restore full access.

My plan shows the wrong tier — how do I fix this?

Refresh the page. If it still looks wrong, contact us with your account email and we'll check the billing record.
